The car works on a 13 kilowatt hour lithium ion battery and it can be recharged by plugging it into a standard 110-volt, 10-ampere outlet. Absence of fuel does not mean that performance is compromised. Aptera has said that the Aptera 2e can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in a matter of 10 seconds, which is no joke.
Aptera has gone so far as to have a solar panel on the roof of the car so that it powers the excellent ventilation that the car provides. This wonder kid promises to change the scene when it comes to automobiles for the better of nature.
